In 2008 Brittany Murphy starred in The Ramen Girl, a movie about a hapless white chick who follows her deadbeat boyfriend to Japan. As you could probably guess (trust me, you will... the plot line is super transparent), Murphy's boyfriend leaves her all alone in a foreign land. She finds solace in a simple bowl of ramen prepared by a master chef.
In all honesty, this movie was a bit of a snooze fest. Although 45 minutes in there's an amazing food porn scene where you see the master preparing the delicious bowl of Ramen. Not gonna lie, that part did make my mouth water. However the movie's tagline ("Her romance is on pins and noodles") makes me want to barf!
